Commercial Director

Huw has 10 years of Strategic Management experience in various industries from FMCG to Electronics, he joined the company in January 2019 and was part of the management buyout team that purchased Airbase from administration in August 2020. Outside of work Huw enjoys sport, particularly Rugby (although now retired from playing), cooking and spending time with his family.

Edward Dyer
Operations Director

Ed has an outstanding track record leading manufacturing, operations and continuous improvement teams at Rolls Royce & Ricardo, he joined Airbase in November 2018 and was part of the management buyout team. Ed has been key in imprinting a lean six sigma attitude in to the manufacturing operations at Airbase to provide a more efficient service. Living on the South coast, Ed can often be found on the water where he sails to a competitive standard.

Ben Russell
Group Chairman

Ben is an experienced CEO in Start-up, Turnaround and Acquisitions within engineering, staffing and aviation sectors. Based in the North-West, Ben’s Russell Taylor Holdings were named as the fastest growing, privately owned recruitment company in the UK. Ben also maintains a personal interest in aviation and holds a Helicopter Pilots license.

Chris Williams
Group CEO

Chris has over 17 years of Management Consulting, working with top tier firms such as Accenture and BearingPoint where he has held Directorships. He is a leader and expert in Strategy and Operations Consultancy & has led Business Transformation Programs across a wide range of industries, working with the likes of IKEA, Cadbury, Royal Mail and the UK Home Office.

Emma Nicholson
Design Engineer

Emma graduated with a BA in Industrial Design from Bournemouth University and then joined Airbase in November 2016. During her career Emma has led several design projects across the Airbase portfolio, from life vest development to soft furnishing patterning, and is an expert in our range of patented life vest pouches. Outside of work Emma is a keen chef and baker, enjoys brunch and travelling to new places.
